August 24, 2020 Update

Hi from your friends Linda and Sid at Jewish Matchmaker2Matchmaker.

We want to bring you up-to-date on what we’ve been doing. But first, when are we opening? There is a slim chance that’ll be right after the secular new year. Lots of things have to first fall into place but it could be. We can guarantee that it won’t be one hour later than possible. We can guarantee that we will do everything possible to find you your bashert.

What we are building out of computer code is very complex and very large and, therefore, very expensive because it requires a lot of hours of a lot of very smart computer scientists and engineers. We already know how to build it. The blueprints, by analogy, are complete and we have the building permits. Now we have to dig the foundation and pour the concrete.

So we’re holding a building drive, to continue the analogy, to find individuals and institutions to fund the construction and invest in what we are doing. That’s our full-time job right now. We had a great meeting with an investor on Tuesday but the decision to say yes is not his alone and there are still the negotiations to come even if it is a yes. We try as hard as we can but, in the end, it’s in God’s hands.

I’m not sure you realize that just as Jewish Matchmaker2Matchmaker will screen out all liars and scammers and predators, it will also screen out all non-Jews. The other Jewish dating sites do not (and actually say so in their fine print). We believe Jews should marry Jews, and will be happier for it.

There are two things you can do for all of us. First, please ask anyone you know who is Jewish and single to join up at Matchmaker2Matchmaker. Help us get the word out. Let’s really network this. Let’s stamp out Jewish singlehood.

Second, please tell your religious leaders and potential investors about us. M2M is a very powerful anti-intermarriage weapon of enormous value to us as a People surviving, and an enormous financial value as an investor.

Linda and I wish you a happy New Year, a shana tova u’mesuka, a year when you find your bashert.

Linda and Sid Klein

PS We’ll be in touch soon. Don’t be strangers.

    1. Hi Cheryl,
Re the price, a multi-month subscription will be considerably less than a single month subscription. And if we can attract paid advertising that is attractive to our subscribers, then we can further lower the subscription cost. And, as the saying goes, nothing is cast in stone.
      Linda and Sid
